STIMULATIONS TO THE PRICES OF GASOLINE AND DIESEL
In this section we present the modifications of the IEPS quotas applicable to fuels that are derived from the fiscal stimulus that is published weekly and generally has a validity of 7 days from the day following its publication.
This stimulus will continue to be in force during 2020 and 2021, with which the federal government will continue to adjust the IEPS quotas applicable to fuels, to “avoid abrupt movements” in public prices derived from the volatility of global markets and the type of fuel. Change. In other words, these quotas will be reduced when oil prices rise and they will increase when international oil prices show a decrease.
It is also important to remember that as of January 1, 2020, the IEPS quotas applicable to fuels suffered an increase due to the annual update due to inflation.

We remind you that according to Agreement 51/2020 published in the DOF on May 29, 2020, and its considering, it is established that derived from several factors such as: the fall in budgetary income with respect to what was approved in the Income Law of the Federation for the 2020 Fiscal Year, the observation that this stimulus is inefficient since it does not always directly benefit fishermen or aquaculturists with fewer resources since the support granted to various sectors of the population has been reoriented in order to focus better support for the benefit of the population with fewer resources; The percentages of fiscal incentives applicable throughout the national territory to gasoline below 91 octane and diesel for use in the fishing and agricultural sector are reduced.
Therefore, for the month of September 2020 the percentage of stimulus on quotas for gasoline below 91 octane and diesel for the fishing and agricultural sectors is 0.00%
